TREATMENT: The treatment provided is called EmSella.
This patented treatment provides numerous supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions to the whole pelvic floor, increasing pelvic floor muscle growth and fibres and therefore facilitating the repair and re-educating the muscle allowing patience to re-gain control over their bladder.
The feeling is often described as buzzing and is said to be equivalent to performing 11,000 Kegels (a common pelvic floor exercise). The intensity, frequency and depth of the contractions (10cm deep) are far greater than what could be performed through kegels. You will feel the muscles in the pelvic floor contracting repetitively during your 30-minute appointment, however, you are able to control the intensity of the pelvic floor contractions by turning a dial on the machine, at any time during your appointment.
The treatment is safe, non-invasive treatment and you'll stay fully-clothed throughout. Post treatment you can get back to your normal daily routine right away making this a walk in walk out treatment.
Of course we will be on-hand to guide you through your treatment and resolve any queries you have so you have complete peace of mind during and after your treatments.

Kate's Story
Upon returning home to my family and settling into maternity leave and considering returning to exercise, I started to realise the impact of pelvic floor health and condition on my life.
With severe mixed incontinence and a uterine prolapse my conditions were now impacting my ability to conduct physical activity, eroded sexual confidence and negatively impacted my mental health.
I sought help through the NHS for a Physio but this had a one year waiting list. In my need to regain my life, I even approached a private consultant who discussed possible surgeries. I then began to look into other non-invasive treatments and found "Emsella".
The treatment transformed my life. I regained confidence, went back to exercise, had great sleep again and no longer worried about how far I was away from a toilet.
The treatment gave me total "Pelvic Peace of Mind" and inspired me to make the same treatment available to more people so they can benefit too.
My story started after my first pregnancy and natural childbirth eight years ago when I experienced stress incontinence. At the time I was able to get some help from a physio to learn how to conduct kegels but despite lots of effort I didn’t make the progress I wished for and as a result my stress incontinence was put to the side. I made adjustments in my life that were necessary to manage it.
During my second pregnancy I unexpectedly suffered with Urinary Stasis. I was unable to pass urine and ended up in A&E. The pregnancy had weakened the muscles of the bladder and I was unable to fully empty it leading to the stasis. A catheter was installed for several weeks.
Later in the pregnancy I caught Covid and suffered a violent cough whilst pregnant for several weeks leading to stress and urge incontinence. It was so bad that I need to use pads and eventually it led to the early surprise birth of my baby girl. Post birth my pelvic floor health deteriorated even further after needing multiple surgeries to remove the placenta.
